On 2nd July, I travelled by myself to Nottingham, in advance of Asher's baby blessing. I had been in touch with an old school friend, Sarah Dexter, on Facebook for a year or so. We hadn't seen each other since A levels, and Sarah now lives in Italy, but she was in our old hometown visiting her parents for a while, so we arranged to meet up at her parents' house. It was great! She has hardly changed at all! We had a lovely evening, and decided not to leave it another 18 years till we see each other again!
